There’s so much to talk about I don’t know where to start!
There was Prison Break, and then 24 and then Studio 60 and then BSG and then Wildfire and I didn’t see Heroes on Monday but I saw it today and so there’s much to talk about.

Prison Break, ROCKED MY SOCKS, as a matter of fact it rocked my shoes too! Michael WINS at life, he is SMART and I loved the morse code and the code for Sara and how much do I hate Bellick figuring it out and I’m really glad we caught up a little with Sucre cause I missed him! Kellerman is a little weasel, I don’t trust him, I don’t think he’s going to go running back to the president but if he does I will lose all respect for him. I love Sara MAD amounts and she figured out Michael’s code and she went on youtube to see his news segment and is just awesome all around Also, I desperately need Michael to beat the shit out of Kellerman, or Sara to show up and push Kellerman from a moving train or something, that would make life grand. And Mr. Kim? BWAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH You are SO SCREWED!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!

24 - Lots happened! Romano crying like a little girl was funny. I don’t like Chloe, she has permanent I Smell Poo face. Jack’s Daddy is the husband from 6 Feet Under, this is very disturbing.

Studio 60 - They DID NOT go the locked on the roof route! They DIDN”T! Because Studio 60 is all about “Tv can be better than this shit” and then they pull the TRITEST, most OVERDONE shippy stunt EVER! I don’t think so! Not on! Very much not on. I think I liked this epi least of all the epis they’ve had so far.

BSG - Lee, you are SUCH a liar! And the sad part is you’re lying to yourself on top of lying to Dee and I just don’t care anymore. I am OVER you and your whiny emoness. Grow a pair and do the right thing and tell Dee you’re NOT in love with her, stop being afraid to be alone because being alone is better than living a lie. GOD! At least I can stand Kara and Sam b/c he knows the score and she’s trying but ARGH! And Ron Moore, I do not give a shit about Gaius Baltar, I do not give a shit about Caprica 6, please stop having them be the focus of entire episodes? Roslin’s hair was AWESOME AND she was in Daddy Adama’s BED at the end of the epi!! EEEEE! Loved her ‘losing her shit’ at Gaius in the beginning, that was AWESOME! Poor Gaeta, he is going to do something BIG and SOON and I fear for his safety *sigh*

Wildfire - ahh how you continue to be goofy and horrible, terrible but soo good at the same time! Also, Amy Jo Johnson playing a twenty year old at 36 is kinda impressive. However, she needs to stop losing weight b/c her cheekbones protruding all skeletal-like do nothing to emphasize her youthful appearance! And I dont’ like Gillian.so BAH!

Heroes - I didn’t really pay attention while watching it, I’m still shipping Nicky and DL and Micah is awesome. Clair did a good job covering that she didn’t know her friend. Hiro telling Ando “That’s how we roll” was HILARIOUS. And I don’t care about Christopher Eccleston’s character as I am the only person on the planet who doesn’t adore Dr. Who. The End!

Without a Trace 514

So I’ll admit my interest in WOAT has been flagging and all the cuteness they can create with Danny and Elena can’t make up for it. (although they are cute *G*) Simply b/c I don’t like Elena andÂ I do like Danny, so really it’s sort of a ship b/c it makes him happy. 514 though, brought it all back! Firstly, a storyline that had me guessing (!), a vic that was interesting, the characters acting much more like themselves (Jack asking Sam where she was going and like he wanted to say something to her was very nice if kind of clunky and awkward, the awkward was good the forced in there was not) AND! We get Sam backstory. Or at least, allusions Sam backstory, which I’m hoping will be what we get a continuation of in the next epi, whenever that happens to be. *sigh* See what I don’t get is how we can have weeks where everything just clicks and the show is awesome and then there are months where it is crap and I don’t give a shit. What’s up with that Production Team? Not on! TNT Aired 417 the other night, for those of you not in the know 417 is the epi where Jack and Danny sing “That’s Amore” at the end of the epi, it’s a hilarious ep, very well put together, good focus on all of the team members, and the best part about it is that these people are at their realest, Jack’s line when the agorophobiac they’d been looking for asks him “What’s wrong with you?!” after he yells at her that they “don’t have time to go into all that” was just so REAL, I mean it felt like natural dialogue, seriously like if Jack were a real person. And then him and Danny singing along to “That’s Amore” it felt so very normal, even their whole conversation about being morbid it was just so REAL! I mean the entire tone of the episode was off from the rest of the series and so I don’t expect a repeat but I really enjoyed how realistic the entire episode was for the characters.Â I really wish they could reach that level of greatness shown in “Fall Out” or “Nickel and Dimed” every episode because when this show is great, it’s off the charts!

Standoff 111

Still my fav surprise hit for the season, and 111 did lots to keep it that way. It was a little clunky in places, I liked the fake out in the beginning with the kid and they did a good job of making us feel for the hostage taker. I liked that they put together that the kid was his cousin’s, there were a bunch of neat little tricks like that. Zoe making a two million dollar phone call that didn’t really help much not so impressive. Emily’s sudden attack of nervers was totally out of the blue! Her insecurity felt forced, while I’ve no doubt in her situation you’d have doubts I felt like a little more fleshing out of the source of that would’ve been nice.

So I didn’t intend on watching this epi but I’m glad I did. To begin w/, THE AMISH???? Every week greys gets weirder and weirder!

Love the 4 residents mirroring the 4 interns .

Loved Richard telling Miranda she would be Chief one day.

Saw Izzie donating the $$ to the free clinic in the first 5 minutes.

The marriage proposals at the end blew me away! Christina and Burke especially! George wasnt really surprising, I loved Callie’s reaction to him saying he loves her though. I also knew what she and Christina were going to do to that guy w/ the legs bc of Bones a few weeks ago, heeee!

Christina has grown up so much!

I loved Meredith and Derek at the end, and DUH Meredith hadnt been in a serious relationship b4 McDreamy!

I really loved Alex turning Addison down, that was kewl. And also surprising!

I really felt bad for The Chief at the end, his wife hadmoved on and I’m not surprised and he waited too long, but it was still harsh!

Crossing Jordan 602

So my initial thought was OH NO not ANOTHER investigation of Jordan that she magically manages to make come out in her favor by the strength of her personality (as much as I love Jordan, I know it’s unrealistic and I can deal w/ that but sometimes they take it too far) but it turns otu that it’s ANOTHER investigation of Garett. Whatever people. MOVE ON! I’m not buying he might get fired and neither is anyone else!
Lily, did not see the pregnancy thing coming, am annoyed by it b/c OMG I DON”T WANT THE FREAKIN NERDY LAWYER GUY AROUND ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!
Woody, you’re so cute and dedicated and stuffs *pets him* I still didn’t give a shit about the woman that got tossed out the limo though.
Jordan, your performance in court was great and all but 1. VERY unrealistic the judge gives you a search warrant. and 2. OMG YOU JUST FRAKKED YOUR ENTIRE CASE SO NOW THAT GUY IS NEVER GOING TO JAIL! You SUCK! You did NOT WIN! You in fact LOSE! ARGH!
Lou - Okay feel guilty you thought she was a murderer but don’t throw the frakking rule book out the window b/c of it! ARGH!!!!!

Kyle/Investigator Guy - Yet another Pretender to show up on Jordan, that’s awesome And Awesome for the Pretender Crossover of DOOM fanfic I’m thinking about writing *G*

This ep was very much all over the place w/ nothing to tie either case together and they didn’t seem like a good juxtaposition. Sure they don’t always have to relate, but it’s nice if it does.

I love Jordan, I do and I love that her force of will gets her what she wants most of the time (b/c I’m a stubborn demanding character myself so it’s nice to see her getting her way in places where I don’t.) but seriously, they took it too far tonight and I’m not loving it. Not at all.

Secondly, I KNEW Steadman was going to kill himself but ahhhh!!! Teh SUCK for Linc! Of course we’d have no show if he’d survived, but still. *sigh*Â I loved Linc pulling the gun on him for not stopping them from killing Veronica!

C Note I feel sorriest for, he’s all aflail poor Kacee! I really hope they work some way to get her out of prison.

BSG Rapture

To begin with — EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BSGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a good epi! I figured out Helo was gonna shoot Sharon about 45 seconds before he did it and WHOA did I not expect him to do it and I’m really glad that didn’t blow up in his face, although there’s no way the cylons shoulda let Sharon go so easy! WTF! Even if Caprica did go w/ her although seriously I don’t know why she woulda gone with Sharon even if D’Anna and Baltar left her. When she clocked Boomer that was pretty damn kewl though.

Dee did an excellent job in making me almost feel bad for her in this episode, I mean Lee ordering her to go rescue Starbuck was very much OMGWTF and then his whole deal w/ Anders, I confess I’ve forgotten why Anders couldn’t go after Kara in the hiatus between eps.

Adama not bitching Helo out for sending Sharon to the cylons when she knows all kinds of shit about the humans pissed me off. Adama letting Helo get away with a lot of shit has been pissing me off really b/c he was all “Oh I’ve been to nice to you guys, let you all get away w/ a lot of shit and that stops now” like 4 episodes ago and yet NOTHING! Trust me I love Helo and I respect that his family means a lot to him but ya know what, the survival of the human race is kind of at stake right now, get off ur high horse!

I really liked the tie in between the eye of Jupiter and Kara’s wall painting, that’s going to be an interesting story arc when we follow it, assuming it’s not forgotten by next week. Mrrgh!

Caprica 6 running over to Galactica? Whatever, don’t care, please let her stop wearing those skank ass dresses and DEAR GOD Don’t let her hook back up w/ Baltar.

Kara’s hands made me CRINGE so bad and I liked that she tried to be nice to Dee.

I really feel like I need to watch this epi over again b/c so much happened it kinda is a blur!

BTVS S1 Finale

This is probably the strongest ep of the season and I’ve no doubt we had to go through the whole season to get here and it was defintiely worth it. We find Buffy just beginning to claim her identity as a slayer for the first time here. She’s no longer resisting she’s resigned to her fate, not quite to acceptance yet that comes later. After she’s been killed and resuscitated, she’s stronger than she realized, she can handle death why can’t she handle life? So she goes and kicks butt and it’s quite awesome.

Xander mans up the courage to ask Buffy out and we see just how young he is with his reaction to her rejection. We see quite a few instances of Xander’s darker side in season one, he has the potential to be cruel and yet he isn’t which is really what makes me like him, that he chooses to be a nice guy. This doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a lot of growing up to do as we see in the Season Two finale, but we see he’s going to grow up every now and then with a glimpse at maturity like when he goes to Angel of all people for help. The thing about Xander is that once you’re on his bad side, you’re permanently on his bad side.

Cordelia begins what will be the path to maturity and full time Scoobyhood in this episode. She finally has been clued in to what’sÂ going on and she sees something bigger than herself for once. She sees a way to make a difference in the world. Perhaps most importantly though, she sees power, unlike the kind she has wielded for years and Cordelia has always been attracted to power.

Giles is oddly enough the character who goes through the most development in this episode. He starts to really throw off the shell of the scholar that he took on as a result of his experiences with Eyghon. The order he has so long sought is no longer enough and he has to decide what to do about that. Giles chooses to act in ways he hasn’t in a very long time. He starts to realize he sees Buffy as more than a slayer but as a person, a child he cannot send to her death, it kinda sneaks up on him and he’s not comfortable with it but he will be.

Willow stands up for herself in this epi like no other in Season 1. Her serious crush on Xander is more than apparent and while Xander proves himself callous enough to use that crush to his advantage, Willow shoots his invitation down. She won’t be anyone’s substitute, showing us the spunk we know lies within.

Angel and Jenny are still very much periphery characters here, we don’t really know anything about them and it’ll be like that for a while yet, we don’t get much from Angel until ATS.

One Tree Hill

I have one thing to say about this show : Every week it’s on more and more CRACK! I genuinely laugh so hard at some of the stuff they try, not because it’s stupid, but because it so reflects the reality of teen life (in an entirely melodramatic way but still) I really enjoy the storylines and the characters, the dialogue is witty and quick and while they venture into the soap operatic realm, they do it with grace. It’s also interesting to see how the teen dramas that have come before have influenced the way OTH is written, filmed and the stories it chooses to tell as well as the vehicles it uses to tell them. Sophia Bush continues to remind me of a younger Charisma Carpenter, and I see echoes of Cordelia Chase in Brooke Davis. The parallels are obviously there like the riches to rags storyline, the absentee parents, She is the fashionista, the head cheerleader but Brooke doesn’t need to rub it in other people’s faces b/c she’s too bsuy living her own life which is where we deviate from Cordy who was much more insecure about her place in the world. Brooke and Peyton were a lot closer than Brenda and Kelly ever were and they aren’t the only pair of teenage girl friends on tv but I always think of them in conjunction w/ these two. Lucas and Haley are obviously the prerequisite Dawson and Joey comparison w/o the ever hooking up part of course Lucas is neither Dawson nor Pacey in that he isn’t entirely focused on himself, nor is he completely self deprecatingly witty (which isn’t a complaint against either Dawson or Pacey) although there is Dawson’s tendency to wax poetical that comes through in his voice overs and there’s Pacey’s quiet confidence in himself that shines through and while it may seem like I’m saying One Tree Hill is derivative of all these shows, it is in fact it’s own show it’s got its own charm and style and despite the fact I was dead set against liking it, I do.

So, not only do they manage to give us a rollercoaster ride with George’s dad, drag out the drama for four or five episodes, have it still be interesting AND make me seriously ship George & Callie for the first time and not just b/c they’re hooked up they throw in Addison not having McSteamy’s Baby! I love this show!
I was seriously floored by that reveal, wtf was up with Addison coming back after Derek though? I don’t get it! She was with Mark, and then she realizes Derek is the better guy after Mark cheats on her even though she cheated on Derek? And it might just be me but that was a pretty brutal way of dropping the bomb on Mark that she did want a baby she just didn’t want HIS! OUCH! Just flat out like that! *boggles* That was harsh!
Meredith making an attempt to connect with her dad was nice and I liked her and McDreamy fighting about her snoring and his shaving/morning breath it’s NORMAL and makes them more of a ‘real’ couple which is always nice. I loved Isabel telling Bailey she was both, because she is and I don’t see her being able to separate herself from empathy for her patients, maybe surgery isn’t the best specialty for that but she could turn it to her advantage. I really like that she’s staying true to herself and of course I’m really glad she paid for the girl’s surgery (b/c that actress has been on a TON of different shows I’ve watched throughout the years and I like her *L*) and then she cleaned the bathroom floor for George. :-/ Poor George! I really liked Christina reaching out to him at the end and I’m glad he forgave her and I’m glad Burke told her about his arm and I love that this show leaves me with the warm and fuzzies as I get enough of the cold cruel cliffhanger/evil endings elsewhere *L*
